Émilie Weidl

Émilie Weidl holds an Honours Degree in Political Science from the University of Windsor, a dual Bachelor of Civil Law and JD from McGill University, and Masters of Philosophy Degree in Law from the University of Oxford. She will be starting the Doctor of Philosophy in Law programme at Oxford in September of 2025. Her research focuses on gender discrimination in Russia, with a particular focus on the North Caucasus. She also has research interests in language rights, climate justice, and gender & queer issues.
