ICC confirms it has issued arrest warrant for Duterte ally

THE HAGUE, Netherlands May 11 (Reuters) - The International Criminal Court on ​Monday confirmed it had ‌issued an arrest warrant for a longtime ally of former ​Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte, ​accusing senator Ronald dela Rosa ⁠of crimes against humanity ​for overseeing Duterte's war on drugs.


"This ​arrest warrant against Mr Ronald Marapon Dela Rosa was issued confidentially, ​under seal, by Pre-Trial ​Chamber I of the ICC on ‌6 ⁠November 2025. The ICC is currently in the process of unsealing the warrant ​of arrest. ​We ⁠will circulate to this group as soon ​as available," the ICC ​said ⁠in a statement.
